Inkjet Refill Drop Boxes
Recycling. Fundraising.
Environmental consciousness is what drives the refill business. Refilling helps the environment by reducing unnecessary waste. Only a small percentage of the inkjet cartridges being purchased worldwide are currently recycled. The rest end up in landfills and will never decompose.
-
• In 2005, over 60 million new cartridges were sold in Canada.
-
• 300 million cartridges end up in landfills each year.
-
• 3 quarts of oil and other raw materials are used for every new inkjet cartridge produced.
-
• Manufacturing each new printer cartridge produces greenhouse gas emissions.
-
• Industry analysts estimate that a spent ink and toner cartridge can be reused between 4 and 7 times.
Drop boxes are another way to recycle cartridges and fundraise for your school, charity or office social committee.
